Knee Pain Protocol

Knee pain can prevent you from living a normal, active life.

Treatment for knee pain
and knee conditions

Knee pain can prevent you from living a normal, active life. Daily activities such as work, exercise, and even spending time with loved ones can become difficult. Knee pain symptoms include trouble putting weight on the knee, difficulty bending and stretching out the leg, and pain during other normal movements. You may find it painful to walk, jog, or run. Standing too long may also cause pain. Knee pain may go away temporarily with rest and then keep coming back. The pain may gradually get worse and then suddenly become a serious problem. People often live for years with knee pain and don’t see treatment until it has developed into a serious condition.

Our in-office, same-day procedures will alleviate your knee pain regardless of the cause. We treat a range of conditions including tendonitis, arthritis, MCL tear, ACL tear, torn meniscus, and bursitis. Even those with little or not cartilage around their knee have benefited from Better Health Medical Center procedures.

Our innovative knee pain protocol utilizes a thorough, customized treatment plan which begins with an assessment by our nurse practitioner. After that evaluation, you may begin hands-on manual therapies and strengthening protocols supervised by your physical therapist. You can discuss the pros and cons of a brace for stability until you can strengthen your knee. If those treatments aren’t enough, we offer knee injections which range from basic steroid and gel injections (known as viscosupplementation) to cutting-edge platelet-rich plasma injections (PRP). This protocol is highly effective in treating most knee conditions and can often delay invasive knee surgeries.
